What you should know about Trentham School
Initially our focus is on the student’s social language which then moves to academic language as their English language improves. 00 Two children 21. 00 Three children 22. Children who choose to participate in the Trent ham Challenges programmed know that they will be challenged academically, physically and in the arts. Children will be encouraged and supported to participate in the Trent ham Challenge. Children were involved in developing the programmed, and will continue to be involved in its ongoing review. Parents will be provided with material so they can support their children with their learning.
Home School meetings are relaxed, constructive and a huge way to involve yourself in the school community, whilst meeting other parents caregivers. It acknowledges many of the in school and out of school learning activities children are involved in. Earlier your kid can be enrolled the school requires you to bring your child’s. Traditionally parents and caregivers have been asked to sign a permission form prior to students going on each visit or activity out of the school grounds. At Trent ham School we have the Cool Schools Peer Mediation programmed running in the classroom and playground.
Every child works on a mandatory learning activity with the classroom teacher. We have a part-time teacher responsible for students who have English as a second language. They may be needed to offer to others and the community, or labor as part of a team. Therefore, we donate the packed range of learning areas from the Fresh Zealand curriculum but have a special focus on Numeracy and Literacy as we trust that competency in these basic fields is essential for our students.
At Trent ham School the staff, students and community have developed the latter set of values. This support is provided by teachers in little groups or as in class support. Discovery programmed for Year 1 children daily and Year 2 children weekly to bear hands on activities to thrive academic, social and physical skills. Each term over two years, classes and hopefully families focus on a diverse value such as responsibility, kindness, resilience, etc. Trent ham School is a school where Teachers can teach and Learners can learn.
In order to streamline processes we interrogate that on enrollment parents present permission for students to participate in the expansive range of opportunities our students are offered outside of the school. Children are not only encouraged to participate in the various arts but also to attend professional performances of the arts that take store here from time to time
