What you should know about Mangaroa School
A family donation of 130 for each kid is requested by the Board of Trustees. She worked for the Education Department for six years before moving to Upper Hunt with her husband. For all students to actively demonstrate our TREES, which underpin our teaching, learning and behavior at Mangaroa School. The staff and board of trustees at Mangaroa School are committed to providing students with high quality education that coincides with our school vision of Optimistic and resilient students, prepared for the future.
It travels along White mans Valley and Mangaroa Valley Roads picking up children en route. In her spare time, she enjoys playing goalie for Upper Hunt, hanging out with her family, baking and riding her mountain bike. Tania has taken a keen interest in education and has spent many years busy on Board of Trustees.
She works at Paekakariki School as a teacher aide and enjoys music and sport. Boards of Trustees meetings are public meetings and all school community members are welcome to attend and listen. Parental involvement in the school community is essential to the victory of the school. In the afternoons when all children are leaving at once, it is preferable you get out of your car and confront your child.
Parental involvement is tall in all facets of schooling, with parents and community members providing excellent promote for the school. For children using the service, the office must be notified on the days your child has made other arrangements to travel home. We have employed a person to retain our pool water monitored and clean and she needs your co operation in this way to ensure the health of all those swimming. It is appreciated when parents donate assist with classroom programmed, educational trips and visits, coaching, fund raising and Board of Trustees work.
The school encourages parental and community participation and has a very energetic Home and School Committee. Married with three adult sons, she has everlasting been active in supporting their sports. The school provides feedback to parents each year through two school reports, twice yearly three way conferences and through informal interaction with staff
